Our History
ABC Trailer’s roots in modular offices and storage trailers date back to the company’s founding in 1974. The family-owned, independent dealership serviced the metropolitan New York area from its original headquarters in Flushing, Queens until it relocated to Farmingdale in 2003.
The newer three-acre location allowed ABC to broaden its inventory and establish a more centralized service hub for its metro-New York customer base. This means easier logistical cycles and faster turnaround.
“In our business, the customer is the most important component,” says Alan Adler, ABC President. “If we can make their experience a positive one, than we know we’re doing our job. This encompasses our pricing, our communication and responsiveness, our logistical coordination…whatever is necessary to minimize potential problems they could or have experienced elsewhere. This is an ethical characteristic in which we take great pride.”
Part of ABC’s business ethics derives from its charter membership in the M.B.I (Modular Building Institute). This non-profit trade association provides members with support and access to the latest trends, issues, building codes, education, research and technology available in modular construction today. MBI members such as ABC subscribe to the industry’s highest code of ethics regarding honesty, integrity, professional service and conduct.
Serving the New York Metro area for 34 years.
